Sounds like a mis-hearing of FTTP.

FTTP = Fibre To The Premises
FTTH = Fibre To The Home

FiOS = Verizon's trade name for Fiber Optic Service

They are all the same. Passive optical networking between a customer's premises and the central office.

LOL becouse there running it through the sewers its being nicknamed FTTT = Fibre to the toilet
