Sharing music with 1 person

Unread post by Revisio »

Was just curious if anyone knows a way that I could connect to a friends computer and download the 200 gigs of songs on their laptop? I was hoping that there was a way to share with only one person on something like frostwire or a program like that. But in advanced sharing settings there are no options to do so. So anyone know anything about this topic?

If you are on the same local LAN or Hub you could share a folder but 200gigs are going to take forever to copy over.

Even if you are on the Internet it will take longer with all of the connection bottlenecks between servers.

I would suggest to use a portable Hard Drive which should be able to be picked up cheap(under$100) which you could share stuff at the great volumes that you speak of. Regardless of what you share, it will be kept personal.

"Serving Content" is being frowned upon with the ISP's(Internet Service Provider's) because of their bandwidth concerns... Mine is having a hayday with the Torrent-ers and closing ports left right and center and leaving us without Internet Gaming. WoW, XBOX or even UT!
