The T-Rats lost 3-2 but it was a good time.
Quad Cities used to be called the River Bandits. Must have changed their Major League affiliation. But, The Swing? That's one of the crappier names of the league. Makes me wonder if they originally thought of calling themselves "The Swingers"?
I like how our Game Announcer introduces some of the opposition.....
The Swing's 1st Baseman, Michael Ferris....Bueller...Bueller......Bueller.
The Catcher, Brady Toops (Said while Brady Bunch theme plays in background).
They also had a guy named Swackhamer. Excellent name for a baseball player.
Like I said, it was a good time...
Beer bottle races, mini race-cars, the "Bratzooka", a bunch of South Americans sitting next to us, singing and dancing to everything. And a short fieworks display after the game to top it off.
Oh, and plenty of nice-look'in women in skimpy clothes. Always a plus...
