I have always been a mech nerd. From Transformers to Robotech to Gundam.
Here is a game that allows you to take control of a mech and compete online. The game is free.
There is no fee to play.
The only catch is that if you want the best weapons, you do have to purchase them. You can also purchase moves and armor and other things if you want.
I will give it a try and see if it is a cool game.

Hmm. I finally installed the game. It is not too bad. I have not been ballsy enough to take my weak mech online yet, but it seems that it will be a fun game.

Checked it out. It's based on the UnrealEngine 2.5, the same engine 2004 runs on. I like it. I just finished training and started playing on-line. My advice is that, if you are a trainee, don't challenge someone with a rank. They will hand you your ass with ease.
