I do not think a map filled with deemers be a problem, it is perfectly possible to win even if you do not know any secrets or use the demeers, when you play enough you realize who love to use and often seek areas, you just have to go to these neglected areas and plan a quick escape route in case it happens if the missile close, even when it fails many deaths can win because you will kill some and those with deemers even when they kill pretty much exposed and kill them too.

Me to.
I wouldnt change a thing about the server. Thats the whole reason I joined DOU. I love the server. The people are pretty nice too :lol:

My policy is real simple - if they're nice and they ask, I'll show them the secrets.

I refused to show someone Darth Thane the other night cause they were an ass to other players.

As far as Thanatopia, there are a lot of other maps worth removing and replacing with something else more so than that one in my opinion: IFC Barn, IFC Lockerroom, IFC Office, etc. Not to mention the duplicates we have on there as well.

I dont play much at all on other servers, but there are some maps we could bring in from elsewhere I've played in the past to give our map list some more variety: Bistro, Painbunny's Poker Night, OMA Study, etc. Just a thought.

I also think the "no close kill" mod will help when installed.

Bistro & Painbunny's Poker Night would both be excellent additions. It is tough not to snipe on those.

When I started to play UT over the Internet, maps with a secret were like a nightmare for me. This made that have begun to explore and learn maps at the time when there is nobody. Sometimes good mates show me any seceret. If my good spot is found by anybody I try to discover another one. If anyone shoot from a secret place i try to find him. This is fun and makes a game more fun. Good score is important but more important for me is enjoiment from playing in a good company, e.g DOU members. :wink:

Its a nice small map for 2 or 3 players.

If your with a lot of players it shouldnt be voted for.

Eh, it was just a test map I was playing around with, I converted it to a DM from CTF. Had it uploaded to the uSa server for an online trial :P
It's fine though, I may tinker with it sometime to get rid of a few bugs.
