From what I understand, he's in the same boat I was before -- everything is new new -- he doesn't have any cache to clean. I'm not speaking for him, but his problem sounds a lot like what I had and this interests me as I'd like a better understanding of what causes this.

Sweet merciful crap, he actually posted! We talked about this in-game the other night. Some of what he's experiencing is what I did after my recent switch to 10 in that he's having to reload everything once again on a fresh system (this is a new computer and upgrade to 10 for him), but certain ones ...
