Clan DOU Redeemer Server

We have a new UT99 Redeemer server going up @ 207.210.238.43
I am in the process of configuring it right now. Please be patient over the next day or 2 while I get it worked out. Feel free to connect to the server but be aware that I may beboot the server at any time without warning. In other words I will be too busy to keep popping into the game to tell everyone it is about to be rebooted...so if it stops working you will know why...just wait a minute and then come back.
The first order of business is to get all of the supplemental files up and seed the redirect server. So for most of this day it will be running plain vanilla UT99. After that I will plug in the components needed to make it a redeemer server. Last, we will adjust the map list the way everybody wants it to be.
When the server is done, I will post a message in the Announcements area.

Not really...I just had to stick something in there...so I did that for now (makes it easy to find the server(s) in the list). Once I am done with setting up we can change the name to anything you guys would like.

O.K., you guys have a redeemer server.
Some things I need to know.
01) Does the redeemer fire fast enough? It is set to 100% (normal) but I can go all the way up to 250%.
02) Any other settings...do the players run fast enough? Any other aspect of game physics you would like changed?
03) What about the stock maps? I am assuming they should all be removed and I should install all of the cg pack 1 and 2 maps in their place. But do you guys want any of the stock maps to remain? I'd assume maps like fetid and pyramid would not be wanted...but what about stuff like deck 16?
Let me know about all of this asap. I am uz compressing the cg pack maps right now.

Hey tommy theres a few maps on the sniper server would work great for deemer will try to get a list but for now the maps with the big houses on them are pretty good for this and any big open maps that you have on sniper might work on deemer, adds a twist to the game have to learn new hiding places and fetid & pyramid are favs on deemer just ask moon sometimes just cause there small maps dont mean there no good its just a good rule to stick to at the start.

It's working fine.
As for what maps to shed....
I personally don't care for the maps that have all the close quarters. The small maps where you constantly spawn into explosions suck the worst. Fractal is a good example of that. The ones that are the best are where you can hunt your opponents.
BTW, is Observatory in any of those map packs? That may be good for sniping as well as redeemer.

There is a map in the pack called:
DM-Beholden_The_Observatory_Revisted.unr
I'll have it up soon enough and we can see.
As for any other maps...tell me what to remove and it will be removed. Tell me what to add and I will add it. Anyone can make a suggestion.
