Map wont work for direct3d
It's one of the newer DOU maps i think, it's called Baikonor5 or something similar, it's a launch site. It worked with OpenGL but not Direct3D, only 2 or 3 of us made it in from the 10 on previous map.

Yeah, many new players don't have D3D9....so they bugger out.
I found that map running one night for over an hour without players.....must have kept everyone out.....Once I went in and re-voted....activity appeared again.

Re: Map wont work for direct3d
This saturday I will send to Tommy a new version of the map....
Re: Map wont work for direct3d
Grubb's right...I had D3D and it booted me every time. I updated to D3D9, and the map worked just fine.
I tried D3D10, and it didn't work out so well. Maybe with some tweaking it would, but 9 works great for now, so I'm not going to bother with 10.

Start the game, go to options, preferences, video, and then change video driver. If I remember right, it gives you choices...D3D, D3D9, OpenGL, etc. You can perform all the tweaks it lists with D3D9 if you wish, but it works fine without the tweaks as well. I also think it restarts your game.
