cheap assed case

Unread post by {DOU}plumber »

The 50 dollar case on my new rig came with a 300watt power supply
Went to boot it yesterday and it sounded like a .45 discharged under my desk! Big wift of smoke too.
Then spent the rest of the day trying to locate a new one with all the connectors I needed. settled for a 500wt unit. stuck it in and shes once again ALIVE
jis goes to show you sometimes DO get what you pay for!

I still liked it better than an Apple when it was broke lol

I've never heard of a power supply go poof like that...

I've had a fan problem once...new fan...

A friend of mine had a hard drive resting on top of his Power supply and somehow made his power supply useless...$20.00 later for an AT P/S...

Had a KTX P/S shut down because my COM 1 port wasn't hooked up right(experimenting) and all it did was work fine after...

I hope it didn't spike anything else. Electronics may go weeks after being spiked. :(
Fighting on the internet is like running in the Special Olympics.
Even if you win you're still retarded.
