It was a bit difficult for a non-English speaker

A ton is 2,000 lbs. That’s heavy. The word ton backwards is literally the word not (n-o-t). Make sense?

I agree with you. I like riddles balancing on the edge between abstract, joke and nonsense. Frankly speaking it is not so easy to express sense of a joke or a riddle in different language. But I'll try.
Here are a few of them, below:
Q: What is the difference between a sparrow?
:?
A: Because it has one leg more than the other. :loco:
-------
8)
Q: What is the difference between the brick and the electric train?
:nonono:
A: There is no difference, because you can not use any of them to shave.
-------
:?:
Q: When the most people are born?
A:In the ninth calendar month.
Someone could add Image In the ninth calendar month? It means that in September.
::HYST::

And in the end something for mathematicians:
Q: One stick has two tips. How many tips have three and a half sticks?
