Gees_Nuts must be old, 3 of the 4 of those are from before my time.

I think it has something to do with todays bands. Not a critique of the music itself, but the bands. Since the mid 90's all bands do now is put out 2 cd's and then fold it up. Long gone are the bands that stuck to the music. Actually, not gone, they are still at it. The rolling stones will be the rolling caskets soon, but they are still out there. U2's first CD pre-dates my first kiss (and I was an eager young boy), but they are still at it.

Yes, some newer bands are in it for the long-haul, but it is not the trend.

* soapbox deactivated.

P.S. The kiss thing isn't true.

Out of the choices presented, I'd have to take VH.
But my #1 of all time is RUSH. Nightwish and Kansas are right up there too.

I'm looking forward to another Rush tour this summer sometime as I've heard they are working on a new release.
I hope to get their Live at Frankfurt DVD soon. I think Frankfurt was their last stop on the 30th Anniversary Tour from '04.

Okay I'll go out on the limb. My favorite is Pink Floyd followed by Yes. Of the four if I had to pick one...Cowboy baby. The Image is just that he is a single parent and a doting father, and his tatoo is on the side of Pamela. I like VH but got mad when Eddie got Valerie (still a looker) and my dreams were squashed. The were probably only 8 or 9 GNR cuts that I liked. And you better like Ozzy or Sharon will come and kick your a**. Besides "Ozzy sings love songs." Oh tyeah favorite male singer Nat King Cole, Favorite female, Susanna Hoffs (bangles).
