Exactly what is it about an Apple computer that makes the users of said machine so dedicated to it? I have NEVER known an Apple user that said that their computer was "okay". Instead, they will swear that it is far superior to the IBM compatible PC.
Now really, it can not be the hardware, as it is virtually identical to a PC. Therefore I assume that it has to be the OS.
I admit that Windows is not the perfect OS. In many ways, it stinks. Still, it can not be denied that it is the most used OS in existance.
My first computer was a Mac. A Performa to be exact. Did I love it? Yes. Did I stick with Mac? No.
The reason? A friend of mine put it best.
"Why is it that when you go into a software store, the MacIntosh stuff is always in a hidden corner on one shelf way in the back? It feels like you are going into a video store and looking at the porn selection. You just hope that nobody you know catches you looking at the stuff."
It is not my intention to start an argument or a flame war. I simply would like to know what the Mac addicts have to say about this.
Well... that and I know it always brings up good discussion, at least on other forums.
