I am taking it for a test run. Faster than Firefox, but rips it (and the Apple browser) off bad.
WARNING: This will overwrite your current IE and replace it. If you are like me and use Firefox as your main browser, then this should be no issue.

Hrm. Is it still prone to spyware or is it more secure like FireFox? :?

IE Should be left to dust as far as I am concerned.... Stick with Firefox and relieve yourself of searchbar and pop-up spam hell...

I've been using it. I like the tabbed browsing they use like FireFox has.

The newest fact about XP media Center is it allowed me to completely uninstall that nightmare Internet Explorer. I use only FireFox. I tried the new version 7 and I'll stick to what works: anything not Micro$oft. I'm working on completely cooking all things Micro$oft on this machine and installing a flavor of linux. It'll definately make things more stable and secure. Has anyone else had a problem with XP Media Center or is it just me? Have a good day, folks.

I have been using FF myself for a bit now and like it as well. I just didn't want to install the new IE and have it show up for each user if they liked the old version better.

Now I see what you were meaning. It'll replace the old one globally across all profiles. Have a good one.
