Had he not added the last one, maybe. But you couldn't sell the last one to anybody, that is a description of Windows to a tee. I use both OS's everyday, so I know.*DARKMATTER* wrote:Razor wins 3-1 lmaoRaZoR wrote:APPLE: Arrogance Produces Profit-Losing Entity

The latest generation of Apple computers are much improved from there glitchy predecessors, I know this from working in the graphics industry where they are the artist's choice. They have far better colour pallets and higher resolutions not to mention Quad Core Processors and ludicrous amounts of RAM to deal with all the processing involved in high res graphics. I don't actually own one, this is because of a couple of reasons, they are expensive and getting parts is a joke in this country, don’t know if its any easier in the states.

PARTS FOR MACS???
If anything FAILS in a MAC your pretty much SCREWED!!!
UPGRADING a MAC is next to IMPOSSIBLE!!!
The usability of one leaves much left to be desired in my case...
The "Virtual Box" has many glitches as to DUAL BOOT windoze...
I'd rather stick to my IBM compatible KIT computer...

You're free to choose baby. But the reasons above just don't fly.GRouND ZeRo wrote:PARTS FOR MACS???
Not true. The powermac line is a tower like any other. The consumer lione, yeah, thats an all in one, but to say what you said above is just wrong.GRouND ZeRo wrote:If anything FAILS in a MAC your pretty much SCREWED!!!
See above.GRouND ZeRo wrote:UPGRADING a MAC is next to IMPOSSIBLE!!!
Maybe in your case, but I don't know what you do. Sure there are less games for the Mac, but thats just the valve games that are the big deal. All id software and epic title come out for the mac. Wanna do graphics, audio, video? Easier to do on a mac.GRouND ZeRo wrote:The usability of one leaves much left to be desired in my case...
This one you will need to back up with proof. I run bootcamp and it is flawless except for the normal windows problems I encounter. And it is still beta!GRouND ZeRo wrote:The "Virtual Box" has many glitches as to DUAL BOOT windoze...

GZ, I have to agree with T on this one. Just LOOK at this thing.

I get a stiffy just thinking about it. Too bad it would cost me my left one to own it

Again, T said it first.

I believe that Tommy said that it was no issue dual booting other than the regular Windows issues. Therefore, it is all good
