A Trojan horse is not a worm. Worms auto-infect and retransmit themselves. Trojans need the participation of the victim in order to infect the machine. The goal is usually getting control of the system by the invader. Sounds like this one is effective.

As a PC and iMac owner I can see both sides. I think the old argument that "there hasn't been a Mac virus infection in x years" is prima facia invalid and unsound and says nothing about the security of the OS.
