You will know that you have been brainwashed if you EVER use the phrase "That there" to refer to something.I haven't picked up the accent except when I baby-talk my dog, then it's there, lol.
"That there is a fine car."
Or if you say "El I'll be".
"El I'll be.. That is a fine car."
Or if you refer to an small animal (usually a rmember of the Rodentia family) as a "varmit".
"Glad you ran over that varmit with it. Now git a shovel so we can eat a bite."
THEN you should start to worry.

My soon to be rig:
Dual processor 2 ghz. G5 (not dual core, 2 actual processors)
4 gigs of ram
160 gig hard drive (second bay if I "find" another drive somewhere)
dvd-rw drive
Ati Radeon x800 XT (with 256 megs of ram on the card)
OS X 10.4.x
When had, it will be one of the beefiest computers had by a DOU member The graphics card will most likely be the one that is hard beat by anyone here (It's the XT model, not the pro model, so it is better then the ATI x1600).
It's about time I had a computer I can brag about in this way It will definitely be the first time I ever had a computer with strong enough graphics support to be able to run current games at their highest settings.

The 4 gigs of ram will be awesome. Also consider that you could theoretically have two monitors and actually run two different games at the same time.
That, my friend, is impressive.
Do you know the front side bus speed for this computer? I am betting at least 800 Mhz, but am guessing it will be 1066.
*EDIT* Nevermind. Just went to the site. It is a 1Ghz FSB PER processor...
This thing is a beast.
WOW! They also offer a QUAD core G5. RAM is expandable to 16 gigs...
I want one

Or if while giving directions you say "Over yonder."The Jargonaut wrote:You will know that you have been brainwashed if you EVER use the phrase "That there" to refer to something.I haven't picked up the accent except when I baby-talk my dog, then it's there, lol.

Soooo your getting 16 cores in two Chips and dip...
4 GiG Ram is always nice...
I would opt for a second HD
They didn't have the 512meg Vid???
Ah... Who cares... if you want your video recording and encoding you should be fine witth all the games that you play right???

I just picked up an ATI Radeon X1300 512Meg AGP 8X Vid card...
Retail usually $185.99 - $229.99... got it at retail of $159.99... WhooHooo!!!(I'm verrrrrry Happpppppy)
I gave the ATI Radeon 9250 128/AGP to a friend and he loved it to smitherines since his computer started to run much faster with it rather than his on-board video... He also tells me that his DVD movies look 100% better also...
