Im PISSED OFF!

I have installed UT at least 6 times and downloaded the server files for hours and when it goes to connect I get a General protection fault.. Something to do with the Core file etc... I'm almost ready to say to hell with it!

Had the same problem once. Brought me on the brink of insanity 
Changed some files to keep the game going on again.

Gunner, try to uninstall your UT, remove all folders, saves and orphaned files associated with UT and then clean up your PC thoroughly using a special programm like "jv16 PowerTools 2012" or "TuneUp Utilities 2012".
Install UT again with patch436 only and launch.
I think, it should work, or else you will obtain more information about the problem.

My computer is spotless because I just put in a new hard drive. So thats not the prob.. I've never had so many problems with installing UT before.. And I've done it a million times...

I had a lot of problems setting it up to run on my new machine. Shotie did something to get it to run for me. She will be by later today, I'll have her post what she had to do for me to run it.

Probably the actual core file causing the problem. Replace it. Have someone with a working copy of the game send you theirs (it is small enough).
