I am currently building me a new PC. Anyone know if UT99 will run on Windows 8.1 Pro 64Bit? if it does, any issues at all?

Thanks in advance

I ran 8.1 recently and i wish i had not. windows 8 stinks and maybe i am to old to adapt. the start screen is miserable, and the availability of features is miserable. i installed a new shell to duplicate w7 without the new home screen but i do not like it. Some of my input devices are not supported like my mouse and my sound card, btw is not so old;4 yrs old (AM3+ motherboard, mx518 mouse, m105logitech keyboard). UT99 will run but the sacrafices for me are not worth it. I am reformatting my drive and will run w7 till they become sane again.

after you tweak win8.1 its works fine, 90% of things are updateable, and as for the start screen shit, you can switch that off, mine goes straight to desktop, and i work everything from there with no issues.

I can not get my soundcard to work properly (realtek high definition), and set point for my mouse and game controller are not available. I have installed power shell which gets rid of the start screen and gives me the start button back. I am going back to 7, but when I upgrade again i will use 8.
