Yup. Get him to the Fort Old Abe Rendezvous next June and see how long he'd last making the rounds Saturday evening. People shoving booze at you every lodge you visit...half of it homemade. Mmmmmmmmm.....Mead.

Just of some scenery and 2 of the Northers. I didn't get any of the piles of Perch (and Walleyes & Northern we ate while we were there) we cleaned every day. I should have but I was too lazy and not looking forward to cleaning them...

Looks like the same fish but actually is 2 different ones. You can tell by the markings (spots) on the end of the tail.

i go fishing a lot.. usually catch red fish, flounder and trout. (mostly trout)

what kind of fish is that??

Not sure what its called in the U.S but in the U.K it would be a pike. We usually just class them as 'sport' fishing not many eat them

Trout is good eating here too but i'm talking about the fish in bison's post that's not what we would call a trout...

The fish in the pics are Northern Pike. The are several species of pike in the U.S. and Canada but the biggest would be the Northern. We also have some close relatives called Muskellunge (Muskies) that can get much bigger.
