Well, the 9 day hunt was unsuccessful for me this year. Only seen one small doe on the last day. Almost baught a muzzelloader for the 10 day season that followed but never did. Went out this morning for the herd conrol units late doe only season. About 7:30 seen 2 deer coming my way, got the scope up and lo and behold both deer were small bucks 👿 Figures, can't shoot them now and didnt see shit b4, wtf. Half hr. later seen 2 deer about 100 yards out from me just outside the treeline. They decided to venture in and when they hooked up on the same trail (or close to it) that the 2 small bucks were on when they got in an opening between the trees I could see they were both doe. Picked out the biggest one and shot her 8) Better than nothing and my uncle, whos land we hunt on wants the doe gone anyways. Tore up his corn prety good this year. He wasn't happy. Anyways, dad and beeflips still have doe tags yet so I may venture out one last time b4 dark and see what happens.
