I've created a new form for people who want to join clan DOU.
I would grately appreciate it if everyone would take a look at it and tell me what you think. It is located at:

After I get the final thumbs up from Xerxes I am going to replace the form we are using now with it.
Then I will seek out input from Bison in creating a Clan Match form.
Also, next weekend I am going to begin installing php nuke in an attemp to replace our shit-ass website that we currently have.

May be you could ask the exact age of members : it would be funny to know our average age in the clan.
In CG, the server used to have a very high age average : about 42 yo I think !!! Old kids on it ! 😀 😀 😀 😀 😀 😀

I am curious about the exact age of our members too, but it is a very bad idea to ask that.
First, if the person is under 18, their parents might not want the age to be known (and with good reason).
Second, also along with the first reason, suppose someone under 18 fills out the form. Then suppose the person goes missing. Then suppose here in the US that the FBI while looking for that person looks at their computer. Then suppose they see that someone over at clan dou wanted to know their age. Doesn't matter if your guilty or not, once your name is printed in the newspaper as a "person of interest," your life is pretty much ruined. The ink on the newspaper will still be wet when your neighbors start throwing rocks through your windows.
Paranoid? Yup. But what if someone who comes around here a lot really is a scumbag on the prowl? Nobody is going to be unsafe on my watch 🙂
So I think it's better to play it safe.

In France it's a current thing to fill the age in many kinds of forms for different uses.
But if it's tough in US, you're surely right... 😛
