Offers Of help

I've received several offers of help lately, even one that whipped a person (Jarg) into a murderous frenzy of DOU-hating blood-lust. Therefore, I thought it was time to make a small post listing what we need and what we do not need in the way of help.

Before that, I need to say that we need people who either have skills in these areas or are willing to learn these areas. If you don't have the skills and are not willing to learn, then why offer in the first place (see the above jab for an idea as to who I am talking about). In plain-speak, don't offer to give me a million dollars if you don't have a million dollars. O.K., I got that out. Sorry, it's just that it happened once, but I don't expect that it will happen again.

First, what we need more:

Mutator scriptors (in high demand)

Mappers (in high demand) (also modifiers of existing maps)

Knowledge of php

People who give me money

Content Providers (once the nuke site is up I'll know more of what we need)

Clan Security Officer

Quake 2 Leader

Second, what we need less:

Skinners (but not adverse to anyone who really wants to)

People who don't give me money

Still Image Graphics artists (again,not adverse to anyone who really wants to)

The "less of" stuff is O.K., but if someone is going to learn something new, it would serve the clans interests much more if they chose from the first list.

There are a few things I would like to add to the list, but I need to talk to people already semi-involved with them first. Then if appropriate I will add to the list and make a post indicating that I have done so and what I added.

So...if anyone would like to take a position then just send me a PM and we will go from there.
