Anyone who's a regular here knows the level of frustration lately on the camping server.
Why not set up the practice server as a private camping server for members and trusted guests when it isn't in use for practice? It's only atually used a handful of hours a week isn't it? Then we have a place to play where we don't have to worry about all the assholes that like to stress everyone out.
I'm allways a couple of times a week at the practice server and I like it the way it is. When I need to explore a map it's a wonderfull place to be. I also use it for x-loc practicing.
I don't think exchancing the practice server for a "regular" sniper camping server is a good idea. If we get frustrated on our own camping server it meens we're doing someting wrong here. Add more admins in and tolerate less. We don't want to leave OUR server for a bunch of noobs do we?
I agree with both points of view. It might be a nice change, when the snper server is over run with idiots, to take a few players and go to the practice server for a 3v3 or something but the fact that we have to leave our own server to play a decent game means to me that we have lost control of our server.

The sad fact is that we HAVE lost control of our server. As long as we have the rule structure set up the way is and add to it this "courtesy" stuff that people expect now in addition to the rules there will continue to be problems. You'd need 2 to 3 admins spectating during peak times to make a decent attempt to keep the games clean. Even then there would still be the whining every time some players loses a spot due to incidental contact.
And then you have the assholes who are tech savvy enough to find ways around bans. Anybody want to guess how many times Mimetic has been kicked, kick-banned and blackholed?
Sorry, I've come to the conclusion that you can hope and dream all you want but this server will never live up to everyone's expections.
All I'm saying here is that if you want games free of the bullshit, you're going to have to password a server to do it.

I here you Lads, though if I want to play a good clean game, big or small map ( we need the numbers ). If it means that I have to go to another server to have a good friendly game with like wise folks. ( WHY SHOULD I ). Remember that we have members from different Countries that aren't all on at the same time. It would be a shame to lose members because of this Issue.
