Xloc server

You know what - it would be cool to have some of the more challenging maps from the regular UT server and FN maps on the Xloc server so we can practice getting to places quickly and stuff.

And while I'm thinking about it -why cant we have a practice session once a week for an hour or two? We can all share knowledge of some of the maps and help each other with tranzing and shit. Anyone up for that? It doesn't even just have to be a tranzing practice - but just a practice session in general.

I think it's pretty cool to have some regular maps on it. Sharing knowledge of maps on the practice server would almost certainly upgrade our skills.

O.K. I will get on this stuff ASAP. Gimmie an actual list of other maps you all want.

Well - I tell ya what, if peeps are interested in having a practice night - why don't we start a new thread and let this one continue on under it's own original incarnation.

Maps I would like to see on the Tranz server: Massive Bedrooms; Skullys Basement; 3ommies Resort; Pizza Shop.....

........ - how bout this instead - can we start off with all FN maps Past and Present and then go from there?

Admin on the xloc server is not like admin on the sniper one. There is no kick things or anything. Its just to put pickups on.

I think it is now the way you all wanted (team mode too with just 1 team).

The mapvote is the old one. There seems to be a bug with mapvotela13 that is not allowing me to create the lists the way I want them done. Draco figured out a work-around for it and shared it with me. It is going to have to wait for awhile as I need to get the other servers moved over and configed first. So please be patient. When all is said and done I will once again ask what needs to be done with all the servers. For now, unless there is a problem, this will have to do.

If possible, tomorrow I am going to zero client the old xloc server and leave it up like that until the server is killed. When people try to connect to it it will say it is full and then offer to take them to the new server. I will be doing this for all the servers as I move them.

Please let me know if the new xloc is the way you all asked for it to be.

Looks good - however I thought you were going to put some of the regular maps on the server. All I see is agiantbedroom and Bedroomse.

I asked for specific names...oh well.

There are 4 map names above in this post and a very general "all FN maps" following that. Is this not sufficient?

Not belittling, just short and to the point as my time is VERY limited these days. I missed your post. I can add a column for the FN maps too but it will have to wait until I move a few more servers over. As i understand it from looking at FN yesterday, the map list isn't completely picked out yet anyway.

The teams are 2 teams. Should be only one.

Condo is a good map for practice.
