Hello {DOU} 2v2ers. I intend to open this competition to challenges starting Thursday Sept 17th at 12:00 Noon EST. This season, I ask that each team COMMUNICATE with each other and with your opponents BEFORE you make challenges. The biggest issue in the past were no shows and the match would have to be rescheduled yada yada yada. This season, please MAKE SURE that both the challenging team and the challenged team CAN play at the time of the challenge. This requires two way communication. Use Ventrilo, PMs, IMs, whatever you like. I know that real life is not always predictable, so if something comes up and one of you can not make the challenge, then issue a change request. If you need instruction on this, please let me know and I will help you. I do NOT want to issue forfeits, but if a match is over two weeks old and has not been played, then I will issue a forfeit and take 25 points from BOTH teams.

Also remember that if the 2v2 server is free and it is a date before the challenge, then you are welcome to play your match before the challenge. You can NOT report the results of the match until the time and date of the challenge. The reason is that someone can use this strategy as an advantage to move up the ladder quickly by playing 15 matches while others can only play 2 or 3.

If you know of any other members that may be interested, pleas encourage then to join. We have a boatload of members but only a select few are registered.I would like to see more participation as this is a practice run for me for something even bigger.

We can re-create the area where each team will make a post stating their preferences for times and days, etc. This way you won't have to wait for people to respond to you and haggle out a time / day before making a challenge. Then if there is a problem you can work it out.

Good to see a little trash talk going on here.

Okay. I have quickly scanned over the rosters of each team. Two things that need to be amended:

Warning: Only one member. Please get at least one more member or I will deactivate your team.

Carolina Swamp Foxes: Please make yO mAmA a team captain.

Other than that, all is well. Remember, the challenges will be open starting Thursday the 17th. I have decided to keep the same maps that are already on the server. Next season we will decide if any changes need to be made.
