We have 2 more teams to go...the Tinies and a team being created Bonk and DeadCelt. I am hoping these 2 teams will be taken care of tomorrow, Tuesday at the latest.
As soon as they are good to go, I will start the ladder. So I figure we can start challenging for matches to start this weekend.
Since these are smaller matches, it is entirely possible to challenge someone, have them accept, and just go ahead and play the match ahead of time on the same day. I am strongly discouraging this. In some of the 1v1 ladders this happens all the time. In the Uzi ladder I have seen people go ape-shit this way. They challenge someone, then get them on MSN right away and bully them into playing the match right away. So 1 week into the ladder there are a few people that have played like 9 matches, and then no matter what happens with the rest of the season, nobody can catch them. I think this is bullshit.
So I am going to ask that no teams do this in our ladder. Actually, feel free to play ahead of time if you want, just don't report the results until at least game day. There is a 3 day delay from when you challenge til you can play. Since the system allows this, if there are teams to challenge and you want to play a lot, feel free to make 2 challenges a week. The system is set up that way so you are not exploiting anything. But none of the playing / reporting before game day. That is exploiting the system.
That's about the only problem I see.
Oh, one more thing. If there was a problem in a match, please send me a PM here as opposed to using the ticket system on FN. There is no reason why Blade needs to see our internal problems.
So, lets get those teams going and then light this bitch up. 14 teams / 28 clan members (members + recruits), I am really happy with the amount of DOU involved in this. There are a few more people that maybe by next season we can convince to play, plus we are always getting new recruits. This really can turn out to be a big thing. And for those of you on the fence that haven't created / joined a team yet, remember, this is being managed by FN.com, but it is DOU only. There will be no bullshit or drama. Nobody at FN will have a say in anything. It's our pie, their fingers will stay out.

is there a way to be able to schedule a match sooner then 5:00 est? i understand not being able to on weekdays since most ppl work but on sat and sun can you make it so we can scehdule a match for anytime after noon?

You should be able to challenge from 12pm to 9/10pm on Sat,Sun,unless there's already a match scheduled,and 5-10Mon thru friday,just use the drop down box on the calender at FN when challenging.

The 5pm restriction is only for weekdays, you may challenge earlier on weekends. There are obvious reasons for this restriction.
