3 Maps played much to often

Yep thats right... these maps make up 17% of our servers's game play.

Notice that these are all DM not TDM so you can add on a lot more % when you take into consideration of the DM% + the TDM%. I am tired of playing these maps in a continues cycle. I dont mind Savage and son very much, but as for the other 2 maps, well, i dont think they belong on the server. Esp. Laundry because all that anyone ever does is go for the deemers and fight over them and bomb the hell out of eachother.

It seems that everytime i go to click the server that one of these maps is playing, and im sick of having to sit through them.

Meh, just be glad they are decent maps for camping. Unlike beachhead that the runners constantly try to vote in. I still enjoy savage. Laundry does get played a lot, often over the TDM some of us voted. Still it can be played without the secret or deemers by some people. I won the other night with 12 people on and never got one redeemer.

Can we throw in something that only allows TDM for more than 10 players?

Yep, I do win as well when I am not using deemers. Its fun tho when crap players are on to get em with a deemer loll

Some maps are big enough for DM with more though. I would rather have something where certain maps just weren't available for over 10 players. Doubt you could even make a mod to work either way easily though, because the number of players can change so quickly.

Laundry sucks

Stargate is fun untill too many show up.

Sanfords is o.k.

IMO the SG map could use another re-work with more crates cluttering up the open areas. A 'cluttered' version would be nice option for more players.

While I'm on the subject, a SG Atlantis version would be real cool too!

There are very few maps I actually hate.

However, there are quite a few maps that have an effect on people playing them that I hate. There's a difference for me.

I like DM Savage And Son

Stargate I like most of the time but agree with Cyg in that I think it would be improved by the addition of more crates and such creating more hiding spots. This would make it better for larger groups of players.

Laundry I hate now. It always creates a lot of running, assaulting, and revenging, just like most of the maps with secrets seem to. People just lose their minds when they play maps like that.

It would'nt take me to long to remix Stargate. I am willing to do it as long as the current version is taken off and mine is put on.

I will increase the size of the room by about 30% and will add a second layer of boxes behind the current row of boxes. These boxes will also be more stacked so all focus is going to the center of the room. Also i will move all of the teleporters (that are in that one stupid room) and spread them out across the room. Also i will get rid of the deemers. I will leave the one on top of the stargate for people who really like deemers and like getting killed over and over again. I will move the entire stargate structure back closer to the wall (this will leave the middle of the room making it harder to r&g and get to people faster for revenge). The spawn points will also be moved more off to the side so people will be able to get to a spot instead of spawning in the middle of the room and getting killed. I will increase the space between the lights and the roof so it is easy to get on the lights, but i would like to take away the low grav and put more boots and armour in the map so people have to xloc to the higher spots (this will also reduce r&g)

Please critizise my idea of a new version. Feel free to add on ideas. Also post if you would like the change.

All in all... as stated above it would take about 4-5 hours to revise the map. It will have to be done this weekend and tuesday when im my dads house because i cant get my UnrealED to stop malfuntioning (which is why i cant get my voice packs to work)

I would suggest you to spend your time building new maps Revisio... 😀

New maps are welcome for all players. Other servers like WOLF, TKK and PsT have new and interesting maps...

Or you can help me to build some new maps.

I'm planning a map named "DOU headquarters", a nice building with offices for the admors, the recruiting officers, a room for the girls, a bathroom, a bar, and some other stuff, including a big warehouse for Tommy's redos...

Stargate really sucks....please delete it from the server.

I don't want to see the current SG map go. It is still a great map for when there's not so many players in the server.

In addition to an increased size and a second row of boxes, can you add boxes (stacked up to 3 high) in the open areas around the ramp?

I would not mind helping but you would have to realize that i often get bored with projects. I have worked on many maps and only gotten half way done before i decided i didnt like it or got bored.

Currently i am working on:

a remix of VSK-Kitchen3

a {DOU} Xloc map

creating ideas for a new map that i thought up about a year ago (a sea battle between ships out at sea with a small deserted island)

and most likley a new version of stargate depending on if more people would like to see change.
