I'm so sorry to hear that...
I began a map en february 15 and I continue building it...
Probably I'll finish it at the end of july, because I'm building lots of details...
With respect the DOU headquarters map, you can help me building a room, by example the bar may be interesting for you...
Or you could collect some nice pics to include it in the map (members pics, members pets, or other stuff...)
Revisio... if you decide to modify a map I suggest to modify the laundry map
1) first delete the secrets...including the redeemer corridor (sorry Lovely...)
2) create new respawn points in the bathroom
3) put some boxes in the bathroom to create new dark spots...
4) modify the teleporters position
forget the stargate map... that map sucks...
Remove the low gravity? Hell no, we need more huge maps with low gravity. We already have a lot of maps where only you people spending all the hours on the xloc server can get places, at least let the rest of us have a chance. I can hit the lights now, I would never be able with normal gravity.

Big thing working with maps... the idea for sniper maps is to keep people "VISIBLE" meaning no false walls that you could only see one way through.
The teleporters are a dead giveaway when someone walks through them and they give off a flash.
If you need some pictures I'm sure some ppl can msg you or you could copy their avatars from the forum.
I've seen magazines and boxes of stuff left all over maps to make them have a lived-in feel like "Hit Parade" or "Nike".
Details can be time consuming but may be worth the effort in the end.
