Bullying

Cutter lost a classmate this last week. He's dealing with it. Hopefully he'll be around this weekend.

13 years old is a very sad age to lose your life let alone by your own hand.

That's sad, it seems to be a lot more frequent then when I went to school. I guess with computers and texting makes it that much easier to get under someones skin.

I hope that's the last tragedy he has to deal with.

That is just a fact of life. Very sad.

I encountered the similar case, when I was a fourteen-year-old. That girl was sixteen years old. She lived in the neighbouring building, but we knew ourselves from a child. We have often played with the entire gang in the courtyard. One morning I found out she had taken her own life. Sudden emptiness.

The time is a good doctor, but nothing will fill this emptiness up.

Sorry to hear Cyg. I hope Cutter is dealing ok.

Growing up I saw bullying often in school but I never knew anyone to take their own lives over it. It is a very sad thing.

I wonder why so many more today choose a permanent solution to a temporary problem?

mAmA hit it on the head. Sad to hear.

I encounter suicide attempts in my profession-more often than I care to admit. It's difficult no matter your relation to the patient.

I hope Cutter is doing okay. Thoughts and prayers, brother. Thoughts and prayers.
