I've been thinking (dangerous I know), and here is what I have come up with.
When I first started this clan I thought it would just be nice to have a little stand up in one corner of this convention called the internet. Just a little thing where we could quietly do our thing.
However what I have come to realize (and everybody else should too) is that we have become much more than that. We have become a very well respected clan and one of the mst well known, in the UT99 gaming community. That is of course contrary to Tigereyes thinking we were not a "popular" clan. To be honest I never heard of BAD before he came around, lol. And with the ladder tournament going well for us (we are #4 baby!!) we have proven that we are a skilled clan that can play too!
I'm trying to make a few points here. First, don't let it discourage you if you see someone bail from DOU to go to some lame-ass weak kiddie clan that will probably fold in 3 months. I say more power to them. They will learn the hard way what a mistake it was. And while if they quit on good terms they can always re-apply for membership, there is nothing saying that we have to take them back. I made that mistake with maddog and won't do so again. He is a good example of someone pulling that shit. Look where it got him, he is gone from the gamining community alltogether because nobody wants him in their clan anymore.
The other point I am making is that everybody should take a little pride in the fact that we are in such a well respected clan. It's all of you who made it so. So when situations arise, don't sweat it, the better of us will remain when the dust clears 🙂
Thats it, just something I have been thinking about in light of recent events while waiting for the other shoe to drop.

I'm in a respected clan? WTF?? You can't pin this shit on me. I had nothin to do with it.
I know that I play with a bunch of kick ass peeps who earned that respect for the clan. I wish to thank those in the front lines now.
