I would assume they can.

To do a re-installation of the Internet box which would replace it with one that has a phone line hookup... just to send a service personnel to swap the service boxes and switch your phone lines over may be a great deal depending on the installation but be sure that everything is back up and running before the service personnel leaves or you will find yourself with a huge headache for weeks.

I already have the box... It will be directly connected to the modem that I have and that I already paid.

I just dont get them. I called back again and now it was not 100$ but 200$ !!!

Grab a freakin cell phone for $60 a month - no deposit.

I have one for supposly 30$ a month but last bill was way more. That is why I want a normal phone...

They can do what ever they want, its their company. You don't have to do business with them.

It is pretty normal for a business account to ask for a deposit. Usually get it back when you show you can pay your bill consistantly.
