Literally, not figuratively thank goodness. I just bought a 20 acre (9 hectare) property out in the countryside. So until I get some internet set up out there, I'll only be able to check the forums and download stuff every couple days when I take the laptop to a wireless zone to a town near the house.
It has 14 acres of forest with a log house built in 1942 (which I'll be renovating), 2 barns with a workshop area, an outdoor cellar and a traditional wood fired sauna out back. Close to the main winter skiing and snowmobiling areas too. I'll be keeping my place here in the city until renovations are done and I move out there full time.

Thanks guys, so far it's been a blast. I've been tearing off decades of old wallpaper to expose the interior log walls. And the farm is an antique junkies dream.
I'll upload some pics soon. The log roof joists held together with wooden pegs still holding after all these years. They just don't build places like that anymore!
Oh, and I put in a request to see if DSL is available out to the house. Should hear back within 7 days. If not satellite will be my only other option.

Yeah, would be nice. We put up that Ventrilo server and I don't think you have been on it even once yet. Although, I have seen some satellite players who were competitive.

WooHoo! They can hook me up with DSL! I'm picking up my wireless DSL modem on Wednesday! 😀 😀 Probably gonna suck compared to my cable connection in Tallinn, but a bargain compared to what satellite would have cost.

Just checked my ping on the sniper server. It's around 200 - 210. A little brutal but not unplayable. Just need to account for the longer firing delay.
