Very basic meeting. We tried to discuss what we want to do going forward.

I got a bit frustrated during the meeting as people seemed to want to address the issue of there being few clan members coming around and what we need to or should do about it and I thought we should be focusing on the future and not worry about that. My feeling is that those people are gone and will not for the most part be returning no matter what we do.

It was decided that we will for the most part concentrate on moving the clan toward Unreal Tournament 4. We will very soon have servers up and some members are already producing content, such as The One having made 4 or so maps already for the game, all Camping / Sniper maps.

We will continue playing COD4 but traffic is light with that game. We will try to improve it but should not count on that.

It was suggested that we investigate adding Counter Strike: Global Offensive to our line up. It is a very heavily played game. While no official decision has been made yet, there are some pros and some cons to doing so. On the Pro side the game only costs 15 dollars. It must be purchased, but it isn't like a 60 dollar title. Also on the plus side there are currently over 50,000 dedicated servers for the game. In other words, it is played by a very large amount of people. Recruiting should not be all that difficult. The cons are that it requires steam and Dylan and I both thought that game was a bit lack luster. TBH however, I need to really play it before deciding that. Anyway, that is on the burner, what we decide to do here is still up in the air.

{DOU}Viogrease would like for us to officially embrace Left 4 Dead 2 as a clan game. We figured why not as long as he looks after it. Dylan is looking into setting up a server right now.

Thats about it. I will have to listen to the recording to see if I missed anything important. I don't think so.

My point of view:

I think, that some new maps inserted in the Camping Server can revive the traffic on it. I'm not really interested in playing other kinds of games - I don't have them (this is smaller problem), I cannot learn new game, when I hardly find time to stop by on UT99 server (bigger problem).
