Sorry folks. It would seem my diagnosis from a few weeks ago was incorrect. I have continued to have difficulties getting food through my esophogas although I thought I was having a couple good days last week.
Last evening something got stuck while I was eating and I could not get it out. So I went to the ER and they got my doctor in there and he went in with a scope to free the obstruction. Well, he discovered a tumor. It has grown the last 3 weeks so the inflammed tissues around it could no longer hide it from view. It is 2 inches across and tumors in the esophogas are cancerous 99.9% of the time so it looks like I am in for a fight. It does not appear to have yet spread so there may be a decent chance of surviving this. I do not yet know if chemotherapy is in store for me or just the surgery. That will be the decision of the oncologist who will be contacting me tomorrow or Friday. I'm hoping this was caught in time but if not.......
My Ex informed Boose and Cutter. I can only imagine how much that sucks for them after I told them a couple weeks ago that I was going to be fine. That had to be like a slap in the face.
I'll let you know if when then are new delopments.

My Uncle passed away after fighting off cancer in his esophagus... The cancer that he was fighting was really close to a vital part(I'm not too sure what it was) but he could not get it physically removed but had suffered treatments to no avail...
If you can get that sucker out before it spreads you will be better off!

Sad to hear that Cyg, go ahead fighting and keep the mental up this is what saves the most.
