Chicky!!! Glad to see you're still around!

The fight is started and I'm told I have a good chance of beating this.

Hey, you still in Germany?

I'll keep a good thought for you man and I know you have what it takes to beat this.

But, I'm back living in Estonia now. Got a little spread of land out in the countryside and a wife and 2 kids too (which shows how long I've been gone). Miss you guys, I do intend to return someday on a regular basis. Shouldn't be too far off I hope.

LOL Bison, this is exactly what I thought when I saw Chicken's post !

Hope you're all well too Chicken, Bison, everyone of our genuine times on DOU but actually overall Cyg... I wish you're chances will be at the rendez-vous to frag the beast. :minigun:

I was this evening with my other half which had had a cancer removed from her right breast this morning.

I wish she will recover as I wish the best to you Cyg.

Keep faith in you, you are your best weapon 😉

I will add your lady to my prayers tonight Moon. I hope she recovers fully and quickly and that she stays that way!

Hey Cyg,

Had some time so I stopped by to catch up a bit.

Just wanted to post in your thread even though we've been keeping in contact via text.

I hope you are healing up and getting ready to come out fighting for round two.

I'm in your corner and keeping you in my prayers.

Hey mAmA, thanks for the post. In a couple days it will be 2 weeks since my last chemo. I've been told and also read online that the worst effects from the chemo occur 10 to 14 days after receiving the last dose.

Since the end of chemo and radiation I have been feeling more crappy. There is a host of effects I've been dealing with. The most noticable is my ever-thinning hair but the worst to deal with is an almost continuous heartburn-like burning in my chest from the radiation.

I'm still working (had my first 50 hour week since this crap started) but the remainder of my time is spent resting.

Bottom line is I'm getting by and hopefully this is about the worst of it.

Thanks again everyone for the sentiments, wishes and prayers.

Dont over do it and create more problems :nonono: make sure if you need the time to rest dont be afraid to take.

Yup its great you can work and take the punishment you have, but make sure you get the rest you need as Bison says it can create more problems ....

Yup, I hear ya. 9 hour days aren't too bad. Just leaves me little energy for much else right now. Trying to stay caught up on sleep.

Hang in there Buddy!

Rest and sleep is when your body does the most repairing of its self. Drink tons of water and over do it with vitamin C.

As always....

....on your side!

I get to go in for a PET Scan tomorrow to see how effective the treatments were. Best scenario is that I get to have surgery and hopefully put an end to the cancer.

Several coworkers put on a chili benefit for me today on 1st shift. Went through over 40 gallons of chili! They raised alot of cash for me to see me through when I'll be off of work recovering from surgery. I have insurance but it'll barely cover my child support payments.

BTW I changed the title of this thread. Was getting tired of reading 'Bad News' every time I visited.

I always think in you dear Cyg. Especially when I connect to the energy through Reiki...

I believe in Reiki after a person started me in it, and help me cure my illness some years ago.

Now, every day I log a few minutes and I am filled with positive vibes...

If you have not tried Reiki, do it.. no costs, only benefits...

Read about...

God bless you
