It is possible to have our own WoW server but it is a bitch to setup. Then you may end up in copyright conflicts in the process...
Then again the Fake WoW server isn't what it is cracked up to be... It has its own problems with instances(High Maintenance).
The question is what are we willing to take on for a NEW Server? How easy is it to maintain?

No, the guild would be DOU, but they would use one of the sanctioned servers. Zero work for us really. This is why I have zero problems adding WoW into the fold. It's up to the current DOU members if they want this and how much work they would be willing to put into it.

Pretty much it... You buy the game then you have to pay-to-play each month!
I was only suggetsting the problems with owning a server that would host the game.
Having a Guild on WoW isn't really the problem but having it only on one WoW server where everyone is able to connect to is another problem in itself.

I think that a clan "sniping and camping" won't be misjudged if it migrates to the upgraded SAME GAME that he already used to play but people couldn't understand why a clan changed the game he always used to be playing !...
Of course this is only my opinion and this is in the case of a full modification of the main server.
It is in the case of an evolution in the same game...
And it is to get the absolute end in dealing with cheaters and runners assaulting without any way to ban them for good.
I know that a full ban on UT2K4 can't be hacked except in changing your player name (easy), changing IP (they know how to) AND changing the version of the UT2K4 they installed on their computer (not that easy to format and install the game of somone else). That was the idea when I started this post.
But I know my english is not sharp enough sometimes... 😳
Now, if the idea became only "what other game could we add", I have no special opinion because there are thousands and you'll have as much favourite games than different players ! lol 😀
I only expect the end of the problems DOU has got since a long time now. There are hundreds of posts about the same problem... people ruining the pleasure to play on DOU main server...
I only wanted to precise the object of this post but I don't say your wrong in liking other games 😉
