Pokerstars.net is now offering a homegame option where you can set up a poker table for general play and/or have tournaments.
If anyone is interested in a DOU poker event you can go to Pokerstars.net and set up a free account. You get play chips and go have fun. You also get a free refill of chips should you lose everything.
I have started a DOU club at the site. Once registered, hit the 'homegames' tab. Here's the info you'll need:
Name: DOU hold'em
Club #: 336587
Password: comelose
I am hoping to get enough interest where we can have at least one 'poker night' during the week(end) and maybe an occaisional tournament.
Each poker table holds 9 players and we can have more than one table so no one who wants to play will be left out.
Please feel free to also extend this invitation to recruits and guests who would like to play.
I can also extend an invite through email so you can send me your addy if you want to do it that way.
If I get enough people I'll send out a pm to see what would be the best time for our first event.
I'm not much of a poker player but it sounds like a nice change and a challenge.

If you were at pokerstars.com then you were at the wrong place.
I've been at pokerstars.net. Pokerstars.com is trying to take advantage of the .net's popularity. Not suprised there was something unlawful going on there too.
I've never received a warning or had any other problems at pokerstars.net. Just fun games. Won over 60K in chips this morning at a 100/200 table. I'm well over 200K to the good over the last couple weeks. Too bad playing for real money isn't this easy.
