Had it then too. My biggest problem was not realizing it had happened. When I looked at new posts there were 114 of them, I thought I would never catch up 😆 .

No, it can't be this because my 2 PC (home and work) had the same new login entry needed !
Yeah, I had to login again today too. No idea, I am guessing that the web host rebooted the web server and that caused it, but it is just a guess.
