How do you call it ?

That, Moon, is a Catfish. Without a decent side shot I cannot tell which specie but I would have to guess it is a Channel Cat, judging by the girth of the head. The Blue Cats are more streamlined. There are other species but those two are more common.

Wow !! We have no Catfishes like that in my country ! Many of them are small but veeeeery many. In facts, too much : we're not allowed to release them if we catch some and not allowed to transport them. 😀

I learned it's the same thing for the carp in some countries of Australia !!!!! In France all carps are released to be caught some next time. It's only a sport fish.

Them are small kitties for around here. The blues get huge and the flatheads do too. I forgot what are state record was but I'm sure JB could tell ya....

Someone, dunno who, stuck a picture up at work of a catfish from somewhere around Thialand that was suppose to be 600 + pounds

i have better picks i just saw scrolling though my pics ill send them to tommy since yahoo wont lelt me copy and paste there a bunch of dicks they just change that not to long ago

sent u those pics Tommy tell me if you didnt get them they give a better angle on it and theres one more with it and it all the fish we caught after that and it was late so we couldhave caught more but it was a week day and like 9 30 and really dark

In France, if we catch a catfish, we're not allowed to carry it (to home or anywhere) AND we're not allowed to put it back into water !

We absolutely have to let it die (or kill it) on the riverside.

Too much of them eat all the other kind of young fishes so... 😕
