I'm looking to create a new position as the clans Security Officer.
The job will be pretty simple. You will be responsibe for constantly making sure we are running the latest version of UTDC (by checking the website often for updates) and hunting around now and again to see whats out there that we need to be concerned about cheat-wise.
Also, about once a week you will be given the server logs and you will scan through them to just make sure everything is on the up and up.
Last, if someone states that there is a security concern you will be the first to jump to action and get the ball rolling.

About the UTDC version, I already alert you about the last version so, I'll be able to do it again and again.
Otherwise, about the rest of the "mission", I'm afraid that reading the logs takes many time !!... If I was retired ( 😀 ) I should accept but I think it's a lot of work... tell me about the time you think it takes... Considering I have a big piece of work about our skins...
But my answer isn't negative...

The idea here was to get a little help for myself and at the same time get another clan member involved in something. My hope is to eventually have a position for every member, but not thrusting a position on someone.
Moon: Your doing a lot of graphics/skin work for the clan so you are good for now 🙂
Bison: Once we get everything squared and a procedure is straight I will pass the UT99 Sniper Team Captain position to him so he is good for now.
Ground_Zero: Most likely going to be the Quake 2 LOX team captain.
I have something planned for Gees_Nuts too. So let me take a look at the list and see who is being a wall-flower and then I can start pointing fingers 🙂

Doubt he has the time or the computer knowledge 8)
What about a rotation on that....maybe get more than 1 on it.... not at first but build up, start with 1 and then get a couple others to do rounds once everyone knows what to do with the logs etc....Crosstrain the whole f'n gang I say....so more peeps get a more in depth knowledge out side of just fragin.....and there is always backup so one person won't get stuck or fall behindon the logs. There would always be someone who could help out when its needed.............Just throwin one out there for yas.....Oh even better save $$ by knockin off the monthly clan dues while playin cop... yea tell da noobies that....always be a line then for the position...hehe so evil hehe....ok I'll behave now 🙂

umm... you could have a saved file somewhere for all the members to look at and have a thread where everyone should look for anomalies just in case if anything should happen...
if there could be some way of looking at them day to day when the server downs in the morning and the log gets saved somewhere where we could call it up and go through it...
there's also an idea where sensitive(known and private) IP's could be changed to (xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx) in the logs before we look at them and end up in trouble...
