I live in the Paradise... ๐Ÿ˜€

I Googled your city. It is very beautiful. The weather is like southern California. I also notice that you get earthquakes.

Do you ever take trips to the Andes? or is living in paradise enough for you 8)

Also, I assume that Spanish is the main language spoken there. How about English? Is is a safe tourist town?

Thx a lot, really is a nice place.

Here people speak only in spanish, the second lenguage is "chilean", very close to the spanish

Very few people speak in english so it is not friendly with tourists. But is quite sure, not a cup of milk, but sure... ๐Ÿ˜ฎ

I feel your pain Otis. 102 i saw on the monitor today. I think the humidity might have been in the mid 50% range.

The best part is my dad drives a black car with black leather interior. I love the nice warm heat. Feels like i am inside a nice, comfy, OVEN! >:O

At least we can see for 9 miles though lmao xD

Charleston is a very beautiful place... ๐Ÿ˜€

Hot but nice...

Some years ago, in the month of July I was in the Holiday Inn hotel swimming pool, which is in the top of the building, with some Brazilian friends and their children...

Suddenly began to rain.... the rain was of warm water and the sky was filled with rays and thunders...

All my friends ran away scared...

I remained there, inside the water, amazed...

That's was cool....

That was one of the most amazing and beautiful experiences of my life.... ๐Ÿ˜€

- I know exactly which Holiday Inn you were at too!!

The storms here are brutal and happen just about everyday between 4-7pm. You would think that it would cool things off, but it just makes it hotter and more unbearable. However we are going through a dry period right now. It hasn't rained for over 8 days.

Charleston is in fact very beautiful - but only 9 months a year. The other thing is that Charleston is below sea level, so we flood out almost regularly and the swamps and marshes help make things nasty. Not to mention that being below sea level means that we have less oxygen in our atmosphere and that makes the humidity asinine. We were actually talking about moving to Maryland or Virginia - then I got this job with Boeing. And now it looks like they will be putting a final assembly plant here as well. Thats good for me and good for the area - should create about 1500 jobs + the plants we already have will be adding another line so theres about another 400.

So it looks like I'm staying for awhile. At least the plants are kept at 72 degrees year round.
