JK47 Removal Vote

It's been almost 2 weeks since the vote was started.

Do I remove his access?

And if so, are there any changes that need to be made to his ventrilo access?

And what passwords? I know he didn't have the admin access but I think he could spectate.

He's been talked to more times than I have fingers and toes, and that was just as a recruit. You are right about there not being a lot of threads about his offenses R-Mad, but that does not mean they didn't happen. I've had a talk with him 4 or 5 times myself with little, or no effect.

Hell, he will just play under his brother's name and on his brother's computer. It may make us feel better to vote him out but he won't really go away. The kid is starving for attention and he will get it one way or another. Pretty soon, he will discover girls or cars and will not be around anyway. If we vote him out, it will make him an even bigger pain in the ass.

Yeah - he's been playing on the server for the past few days anyway.

I've had some regulars comment on how much more they enjoy playing with him now. Memetic said it's as if he has been reformed.

His brother has a responsibility to DOU to not allow him access.

I'd also like to point out that this was a vote to remove JK from DOU, not deny him the access any other guest would enjoy. Despite how he may be acting today, (and we've been down that road before) he has repeatedly been disrespectful to his fellow clan members and guests as well as all the R&G, Revenging, Assaulting...ect.

Once out of the clan, JK would be subect to the punishments any other guest would be and it will be up to him to behave himself. He'll also be eligible to re-apply for membership in 3 months and go through the recruitment process again for 3 more months. So he could still get back into DOU but he would have to show exemplary behavior for 6 months running. If he can do it he may learn something on the way.

We've voted on it. 75% has said to remove him from the clan. Unless Darkmatter, Dylan or Razor tell me otherwise I'm removing his access to DOU member areas at the end of the month. He'll be eligible to re-apply for membership July 1st. If he can keep his nose clean that long I'll gladly sponsor him should he decide to return.

I think this is the way to go. It's too bad it had to come to this but he drags our tag through the mud too much. Like Cyg says, he can re-apply and if he can show us he's actually changed he might make it back in. Meanwhile he can still play here as a guest, allthough personally I think he'll mess that up pretty quick.

Like I mentioned previously, unless I hear different from either Darkmatter, Dylan or Razor I will be removing his DOU member access to the forum at the end of March. I picked the end of the month for this to give them time to respond if they wish and it is an easy reference point to go from should JK wish to re-apply for membership 3 months from then.

He can retain his tag through the end of the month.

I'm not trying to draw this out. Just want it resolved as fairly as possible.

This matter was discussed between Darkmatter, Razor and I. We've decited to give JK a probationary period of 3 months. Almost like a recruitment with out the (-r). He is not to participate in 5v5 fn matches. Although the 2v2 matches are ok. This will give him the chance to show if he's truly sorry for his behavior. It would be like giving him the rope, his decission whether to pull him self out of the hole or hang. After the 3 months, there will be a discussion and a vote. More to come on this.

He hung himself with his own rope already, several times. 15 out of 20 members want him gone. According to the poll, that's 75%. He used The Ones account ( per Tommy) to impersonate The One and try to convince us he deserves another chance. So in another words he tried to fix one lie by telling another. This kid is untrustworthy. He's proved that, not on one or two occasions, but several times.

Why is it he deserves another chance exactly ? Help me understand.

I agree with this. 75% of the vote is the clans voice. We need to honor this - if anyone else got 75% voted out, they would be gone yesterday.

Just to be clear. There are 60 members in the clan. Not 20.

That is true, but that number is deceiving. There are also quite a few of the 60 that are inactive and haven't visited the forum or the server in over a year. The number of members that are active in the clan and actually know or care what is happening is quite a bit smaller.

Regardless, we accept the majority vote to elect new members. Often members are elected with less than 10 votes.
