JK47 Removal Vote

I have removed JK's DOU permissions from the forum and I sent him the following note:

"JK,

You may or may not know already that you have been voted out of DOU.

Keep in mind you are still welcome on the servers, forum and Ventrilo and you can re-apply for membership as a recruit in 3 months."

I also included a lengthy note explaining to him why I voted against him and what he's going to need to do to make it here again. I told him if he's sincere in wanting to return to the clan I would be happy to sponsor him. I hope he understands what I was trying to tell him and that he learns from it. It's up to him now.

Well that took a long time 🙄

I am posting this here mainly because we dealt with this last time in private and a lot of people got the mistaken idea that we were somehow exagerating about JK's behavior. Just received this from Wave this morning, What .... 2 days

after being expelled from the clan ?

JK should be on his best behavior, clearly he is not. An incident this close to his removal says something to me loud and clear. Even losing his membership here is not that important to him.

Yeah, unfortunately I saw him doing the same ol thing the other day while spectating on Sanford and Son where he was in and out of two teleporters, back and forth - back and forth. When he would get taken out he would revenge the guy from far away (acceptable to me) and then move back to his original spot (unacceptable) - in and out of the same teleporter again.

I should've posted the event but I had to run to a shoot and I blanked it later when I got back on. The other unfortunate thing is if you say anything to him an argument ensues and a lot of times I just don't have the energy to argue with anybody. Especially a teenager.

I cannot remember the player's name but we had a guest yesterday who was complaining about both NastyZ and Matrix. I watched both briefly after the accusations but didn't see them do anything wrong. The same player made the same accusations again a short time later and I told him to stop whining. Maybe there was something to it after all?

I also spectated JK briefly and he was camping. There were no TKK people on at the time.

BTW, the note I sent JK via PM is still sitting in my outbox so he hasn't read it yet.

Matrix was having an assaulting & revenge issue this morning with a guy but it was in TDM.

I was playing last night and the night before. JK47 obviously does not give a shit about DOU, or he has a learning dissability.

It is not even the rule breaking that bothers me, it is the verbal abuse to other players and especially new players to the server.

We shouldn't have to apologize to other clans for his behavior but we definatley need to.

It is my opinion that he will not change and is a cancer for DOU. He should be banned from the server.

They were up in the rafters in skully's retreat. Fighting over the top spot. you might wanna review the log Im not sure who started it but when i started paying attention JK47 was telling them not to revenge. Then pag said something about dou members being able to revenge but complain when anyone else does. Then they the rest of them jumped on the band wagon. Just in case one accounting of this seems suspect, you now have 2 players, one a clan member, that saw the same thing.

Thanks for reporting Otis, this make 2 incidents in the 2 days since being removed from the clan.

Reeeeeally seems like he wants back in, don't it ? 🙄

Neither of them has ever understood close revenge vs far away revenge. I've had pag keep coming back to near my spot on that map to get me out of it. Same with JK. Between those 2 I am sure it was mutual, but still...

should we start a vote to Ban JK from the servers? or just a temporary ban?

Lets start a ban list. And on that list we'll include ALL OMA, ALL TKK, 90% of DOU, and every non clan player that has connected to the server in the past 5 yrs.

Even better yet, why don't we just take the server down. That way no one can revenge anyone.

I think the actual problem here is there are to many cooks in the kitchen spoiling the meal.

Well Dylan - understand that only ONE person brought up a ban, which I personally think is a little severe and over the top. But I think the point is, that given recent events concerning JK - it does seem that he would really be on his best. If it were me, I would plant my feet as soon as my spawn protection wore off. JK has a very aggressive style, and I think that once you sort-of develop a certain style it's somewhat tough to break. JK also likes to win very very much and I believe that the lure of winning sways him to push limits at most any cost. We all know that a lot of people are just as aggressive but it's JK's ejection that is the issue here. I think we'd all just like for him to "get it" and we're feeling a bit frustrated with the whole thing.

You know - I also booted [FUN]Medic the other day for the exact same thing - I feel if it's unacceptable for JK it's also unacceptable for anyone else. Point being that I'm not just singling JK out here. I can't speak for anybody else, but I believe that anybody else would do the same with anyone. I fell badly for Medic - he hasn't been back since I booted him and he was a staple here for a long time. But I stand by my actions and I would do the same to JK, but let it also be known that I have never booted JK.

The idea of a bunch of school girls does warm the heart ever so slightly though.

Its not the rule breaking. Its the mouth that deserves the ban. Players leave the server
