This is just an idea and I seriously doubt that it will catch on. The multi-server just does not get a lot of traffic. Would it be possible to create a freestyle server to satisfy those that like to r&g on the camping server? I know that uzi is freestyle, but it just does not get too much traffic. With a freestyle server, we can refer the runners to the freestyle server.
I believe that the admins are doing an excellent job in warning and kicking rules violators. It is still not fun when there is a freestyle player on because it makes others freestyle. I can warn them, but this dog has no teeth. I end up just leaving and not coming back.
Gonna have the same grave results as the bolt action had...
It won't cut down on rng on the sniper server. There are plenty of rng sniper servers out there that people can go to. GEOF and the like would rather their targets not be moving when they run up to them so they want to play on camping servers.
Also, there are plenty of people who joined the clan for Uzi, so I wouldn't take that from them.

Not many on the Uzi server these days, but i'm hoping it picks up sometime soon.

I was thinking the same thing Tommy was. The rule breakers on the sniper server aren't there for lack of Freestyle or R&G servers. They're there because campers are easy marks for them. Geof put out a You Tube vid of their winning screen shots and at least a couple of them came at the expense of DOU campers.

I agree with Cyg and Tommy Jarg. It's more fun to ( for some strange reason) run around and victimize a bunch of campers that are playing by the rules and ruin their fun. I think ruining our fun has more appeal to them than winning the map.

I'm ok to admit that the freestylers philosophy is about to be the same than hackers who create viruses. Only to f**k up people's pleasure even without knowing them.
But I voted yes to a freestyle server instead of the multi server because I don't think a multi mode server can be pleasant. You come in to play in a precise way (mode) and then, after some people joined, they chose another style of game you're spoiled and have to leave.
I don't really think a freestyle server could avoid all freestylers on the sniper server but I'm sure it could take a good number of them off the sniping game.
Freestylers love to compare their skills together. Alien clan had one of that kind and it was really busy.
In the same time, it would be easier for our minds (or souls... whatever...) to kick or even ban quickly anyone that doesn't stick to sniping and camping rules as we could say "you can't or don't want to snipe : go and see our freestyle server... SAY BYE HERE !"
Of course this is only my opinion... You know I often took SAS 2K4 server as an example of a well managed server. They're very severe and quick to boot someone that doesn't stick to their rules and : IT WORKS !
The more you kick or ban (if facts are grave) a player, the more those who stay are quiet and numerous !
But I don't want to be more severe on our server than the way Tommy and you all are chosing. To be severe is a real common decision to take with the one and only admin (did I say Tommy ?... 😀 )
This isn't my server and I'm veeeeery patient when I take a survey time.
Some players can calm their behaviour after a warning so it can be enough to get the server cool for everyone.
The thing, IMO, is to try (as hard as we all can) to be fair in our choices. You can't kick only one of them when you see or know that several are playing the same bad way. And you can't survey more than one at a time.
I think it's sometimes a good way to say "NEXT PLAYER THAT DOESN'T STICK TO THE RULES WILL BE BANNED" (and the word BANNED does more than many warnings)
I had a good result on [Geof}Matador with "LAST WARNING". He calmed his gaming for the two maps after saying "sorry" twice.
I think you already discussed of that many times but I wasn't there so, sorry if all this is for no use ! 😳
BTW, I'll be MUCH MORE FREE OF MY TIME IN ABOUT 15 DAYS NOW ! (I'm stopping my work till at least June) so I'll try to fix my Vent and may be a new PC could help me to play with a bad ping if only the video is better than today ! 😉
