Is there a way that when you type a message in the game to hit a certain key to repeat it w/o typing it again?
There was a kid on earlier and when he typed a line he could do it again and again quicker than he would be able to type it out.
This make any sense to anyone 😛
When you start a message, instead of typing it out just hit the 'up arrow' key and it should scroll you through every message you sent while you are in that game session.

I am pretty sure that there is a way to bind it, but it seems to be the most closely guarded secret in UT99. I have asked many times to people I believe to be in the know and my question is always deflected. But I am never told that it is not possible. I have tried to figure it out myself, but multi-binds in UT99 are very difficult to do, and currently beyond my understanding.
My suggestion is to not think about it when you are doing it, that's how I do it. I just remember the 3 keys involved and hammer away at them as fast as I can without even looking at the screen... t ---> up arrow ---> return, then repeat the 3 keys. I can do it pretty fast, but not nearly as fast as a few people can do it (thus my suspicion that there is a key bind involved).

O.K., this reawakened my curiosity so I am looking into it. I *think* I may have something. Give me a few hours and I will report back.

It could very well be a function of the keyboard it self. A lot of the new gaming keyboards have an on the fly key bind function. Do something press a button and you have created a key bind. It is literally that easy.

2012=prepare was one on the server the last couple days that seems to be able to do this.

I'm not playing back again since a long time but I'll definitely stop to play on our own server for this kind of reason.
We're not credible when we can't make things like that stop. 🙁 😕
