I would like to create a new forum position, one that I think is necessary.
The title would be: Forum Police Officer
Basically the person would police this message forum and keep track of what is going on in it and then get a hold of whoever they need to when something comes up or clean up the forum when necessary. This is a pretty loose definition, and it is necessary to be so, but here is a list of some of the things this person would do:
Make sure all recruits are being dealt with on time in the recruitment center
Check sticky and announcement threads to see if they still should be
Make sure info is up-to-date in server stickies
Let me know when a new forum update is out
Get after people who created a thread and promised info would be put in it but have forgotten, etc.
Stuff like that. More too I am sure. The person would be responsible for making sure the forum is less cluttered and everything is on track.
Once the boards are cleaned up a bit, there will not be much in the way of a time commitment other then reading the forums regularly.
The ideal person would be someone who reads the boards a lot and has some organizational abilities. Also, the person will need to be responsible as they will be given admin access to the forum as it will be necessary.
Brief training will be provided.

I've been slacking off there in my duties. I'll try and keep better track of things there. Some of the newer recruits are mostly uzi players that I never see and aren't very active on the forums so I tend to forget about them. π
