Ok clearing things

I don't want you to quit Lovely and I like AD, I think he's a good guy. I just think you need to expect less from the server and the game. no matter how you look at it there will always be someone who does not follow the rules. Some will get caught, then kicked, then maybe banned, but more will take their place. It will never be perfect. This will be true no matter where you play unless you go to a no rules server where rules can't be broken because there are none.

Exactly what mamma said. Any open non-passworded server will have some people that either are being asses or don't know the rules. Don't expect it to be perfect. We try to keep them calmed down but it doesn't always happen. We all get assaulted, it's not just you. Quit always blaming everyone else. We get tired of the "everyone but me is a cheat" rant.

I didn't hear that guy saying anything that was untrue. He described exactly what you were doing in that map, sitting in a hole flying deemers. Just like you seem frustrated now, he was unhappy you'd killed him a shitload of times with redeemers. People get pissed and rant sometimes, just like you are doing here. Maybe he should have been a little nicer, but oh well. We get on vent to give each other shit, haven't you noticed how often we call each other fucker and other things?

I think most of the crying is about my post. And yes, when I type something I know it's going to get read. If you can't understand my concerns then TFB.

I'll third what mAmA said. I'd also like to add you don't always follow the rules yourself, Lovely. Just the other day I observed you on Laundry. I was going from player to player and I noticed you were up in the tunnels that are full of deemers and you were going at it with <car>timinator I think it was. You were at a corner and he was at another and you were trying to get at each other with the deemers. You got him. No problem. It was all fair and square.

But then you ran the full length of the tunnel to the next corner and shot R_Mad.

Now tell me, if you had observed that from some other player, what would your opinion have been? R&G?

My point is that while you complain about others, you have, on occaision, set aside the rules for your own benefit.

I'd also like to point out that I don't believe there is a DOU member amongst us who hasn't done something like or similar to what I just described. It happens and as far as I'm concerned it is part of the game. I won't make an issue of it when I'm spectating unless it is something that a player is constantly doing. If I warned people for every little infraction, I'd be doing nothing else.

Expect less as far as the rules are concerned and I think you'll enjoy the game a whole lot more.

Lovely, I think everyone would rather you lighten up a bit rather than leave or quit the clan. I think most people here genuinely like you but get a bit frustrated when every time you play you complain about this player that player or this member.

I also think that given your situation you spend a bit too much time in the game and it becomes something overly important to you. Given that idea - it's easy to take things a little more personal than most people would here. Anything that anyone does for many hours everyday - day after day becomes an important part of anyone's life. UT and DOU is a part of all of our lives - but the level of importance differs from person to person. UT should be something to enjoy, when it becomes a major stress in your life - I think the time has come to step back and re-evaluate priorities.

Like I said the level of importance differs for everybody. So also keep in mind that some people are here simply to fuck off and others here play with a bit more integrity. You/WE simply cannot control everybody - and who would really want to? Also, anytime you call out a player and then sustain an argument with them - 9 times out of 10 it will get you no where. Notice that when the rest of us play you may see a general "CAMP PLEASE" without calling the players name unless one of us is spectating. People that are not camping generally get the point. When you start calling out people over and over, they are going to retaliate. And when you keep on entertaining them with with little spats here and there - nothing good is ever going to come of it. They're just going to continue fucking with you because it is obvious they are getting to you. You simply cannot get upset every time somebody challenges your authority - you will lose their respect and everybody else's that witnesses the event - and then your on your own. In other words - say your piece and move on. Leave it at that and enjoy yourself.

The rant about AD? I think AD is also a great guy. I don't see him ever doing anything shady concerning DOU when it comes to the ZSZ issue. That's why I didn't post in that thread. It simply is not an issue. But remember - some people do not know AD as well. - Not saying that he and I are best friends or anything. I just know well enough that it isn't an issue.

I know that I run i the tunnel. But am I doing it on other maps? For the complaining, put that on stress. When I am not stressed, I dont complain. Look at what Evil said in the other post. I was ok in the game after saying what I had to say. The problem is I do accumulate things too much and... it explode. I know, its not good. What made me explode yesterday was Tapout. What he did and said was simply too much. The fact that he does it all the time too was too much. And yes I know I take the game too serious 😳 I will try to take it less serious.

You will enjoy it more if you do Lovely. I agree with Otis when he said " ...when it (UT99) becomes a major stress in your life - I think the time has come to step back and re-evaluate priorities." I have always played to win but laugh at some of the things that go on sometimes, even when they happen to me. Also I will quote Cyg here, " ... It's an exercise in forgiving but we don't do it for their sake, we do it for ourselves so we don't go insane.
