Open Letter

Originally this was a PM for Abberation. But then I thought maybe it was good that everyone can see it. So I did.

Hi Abberation

I really do not know much about you. I do not know if you are young or old, married or unmarried, or if you have children, or what you do. The only thing I know is that you're my mate.

I am 35 y. o. married, I have two small children and working on different things, especially electrical and electronic projects, usually away from home. I was also several years in the military, not really a soldier, but operating electronic equipment.

I mention this last thing, only to make one consideration: apart from all technical aspects, or those related to weapons and other things, one of the lessons that I rescued from that stage of my life is that mates are always the most important.

In urgent situations, in the most difficult or dangerous moments, when all seems lost, just a fellow can make a difference...

There I learned that if at the last moment when it seems to be nothing and you watching in your pockets find a piece of bread, you're going to split, and you'll give your camrade the larger piece. If your camrade is OK, you will be OK... that's the message.

It may sound pathetic, but I mention this because I believe that even in the smallest and simplest things in life, this concept is valid.

I play UT99 from many years ago, when my brothers taught me, and I was suffering from a serious illness that prevented me from walking. It was a difficult stage of my life that I have already passed, but allowed me to learn something that would mark my life, my love for this game. And thereafter, my love for this clan.

Curiously I reluctantly decided to enter the clan, because I did not know if I would be able to be respond to this responsibility due of my work and my little children.

Inside this clan, there is a wide range of people of different ages and condition, with differents activities, and living worldwide. So our clan is a small and wonderful world as well.

But our clan have also its weakness: it is small, with people arriving all the time and other who leave without warning or trace.

For me, if my clan, my group, my platoon, my family or anything else that I belong is small, my main concern is taking care of my comrades, to ensure to remain like an united group. Small but united.

On the other hand, I would like that every time you saw a fail on me, you have told me respectfully through a PM, so I could reflect and improve.

I saw also faults on you, but I thought it were not important to invalidate my appreciation for you, so I never said nothing. All members do faults when playing.

It saddens me that you've accumulated anger towards me and say things such offensive. Anyway I have no anger with you.

Indeed I am not the source of truth, and neither are you. So we could always help us instead of attacking us so hard.

I am very intense person, always determined to fight against those who injure or attack me, but you are my comrade, I prefer to cut my bread and give you the largest piece.

So I pray we can resume our fellowship and friendship.
