Osama

Is this a common name in Chile? Or is it someone trying to get a rise out of us American's? Because if its not the name quite frankly pisses me off.

The meaning of the name Osama is Lion-Like

The origin of the name Osama is Arabic

Alternate spellings: Ousama

Notes: Alternate form of the name Usama, which means "Nickname for the Lion".

If he'd used the name Lion, everything would be okay? I think yes.

So read "Osama", and think "lion".

Different matter if anybody will use full name Osama bin Laden , or Joseph Stalin, or Adolf Hitler, or ... Hosni Mubarak (?)

Do we kick people with offensive nicknames?

Depends on the name and who is on to do the kicking.

We often ask a player to change a name we find offensive.

I don't think the name "Osama" by itself is offensive, it could actually be the guys name for all we know.
