Hi all
I want to express my opinion in this point: We must to stop the recruitment of not well known persons.
Our Clan have enough members (over 80) with about 50 to 60% active.
So we should come back to the times we recruit only well known players, who play with us during months. Both in the the Sniper UT99 server and the COD server.
Enough of weird guys!! :nonono:
We lost a lot of time with this kind of people, who do not deserve to use our tag.
Not the first time.
well said I agree
I would say this is a needed change.
Never did agree with the "Our recruitment period will sort them out" policy any way. How much time have we wasted over the years? Let alone the aggravation.
I was on months before I was recruited. Now someone shows up, talks nice, and in a week they are a recruit. Then show their true colors or become invisible in the next weeks.
I say let them prove they are worthy before we recruit.

Thats not intirely true. We have a 'three months on the server policy' before recruiting, but exceptions can be made. Those exceptions are also made by the members. Every aspirant recruit is introduced to the clan members and they can have there opinion shared about it.
If there are no problems they can be recruited. If we're blaming recruits it would also be wise to take a look at ourselves and blame us all for making a bad decision from time to time. I consider that part of life.
Remember we had recruits that we're on the server for more than a year before we recruited them. Enforcer, Sunlight On Chrome, Tanequil. No satisfaction guaranteed no matter if they are months or years on the server.
In 2011 we had 14 recruits. The 'trash' among them washed itself out. Some of the ones who made it to the members status are MIA or gave up.
In 2012 we have had 23 recruits. The same goes for them as stated above. Just two of them caused trouble and are gone. I see no time wasted! I see time well spend. Either to pick out the good guys or to delete the bad apples.
Lets not get overheated because there are some lunatics who just dont match with our clan.
May be Natan have some point here. But I maintain my opinion...
I think we need to do a better effort to know, well, who is becoming a recruit.
Recruits represent us also elsewhere, and among our guests.
A bad recruit is a bad image for us.
If this policy continue, our problems will continue.
Anyway, we can use our vote or veto power. In the future I will vote no, for a recruitment when recruit candidates be just appeared people.
That's a democratic way to exercise our right of opinion.

Ha, ha, ha....... π
You know what I came up with?
Remember, what were the reasons for leaving the clan or interrupting recruitment?
Let's make a simple test for potential recruits and let's see how they will try to resolve some problems. Let them describe or choose the answer.
For example:
1. You are a recruit. What is your reaction when you notice that a player (non-DOU) breaks the rules of the game:
a) politely ask him out;
b) raise hell to show him who rules on our server;
c) I am silent or leaving the game;
d) I continue playing, but will inform my sponsor for this event.
2. You are a recruit. What is your reaction when you notice that a member of DOU breaks the rules of the game or cheats:
...
3. You become a member of DOU. What is your reaction when you notice that rules on the server are constantly being broken?
Of course these questions does not necessarily have to be in the test.
What do you say?
Just an opinion:
Sorry Rad. We do not need test for recruits.
The problem are not the recruits.
We are the problem....
We leave the habit of observing well our possible future recruits.
Let's do it again and the things will improve.
